Recently we were speaking about our favorite places on Earth. Well first of all:
What is a travel blogger?
A travel blogger is someone who travels around the world. What he/she does could change but it goes between collecting
material for writing about their travel experiences, telling where the hot spots are, giving advice about where to eat/stay, or sharing their experiences around the globe.
The travel blogger must travel to a specific destination, typically a series of places to obtain
exciting, informative experiences which she or he will then show on
their blog site. They will also usually be required to upload good
quality photography to illustrate the articles.
Pay attention! if you want to become one of these bloggers take in account: traveling and blogging does not
result in any money earning, so you should earn from advertising; a popular blog site with many
thousands of followers represents a valuable marketing channel, both for
product suppliers and for hospitality destinations.
Once you have a big number of viewers, often a hotel may contact you and offers a free stay in exchange for a positive feature about their property (but we are talking about hundreds of hours of hard work). Other companies may offer the blogger free travel equipment, or simply buy banner advertising on the site.
